What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by a website. Related technologies such as local storage can be used the same way, and the law treats them alike.
What this site actually does
We checked the live site on 13 July 2026. It sets no cookies of any kind, and nothing on it uses local storage or session storage. The site loads one third-party script: Cloudflare Web Analytics (beacon.min.js, served from static.cloudflareinsights.com). The script is not loaded for visitors in the EU. It is cookieless. It stores nothing on your device, does not identify you, and does not track you across websites.
Could that change
Our host, Cloudflare, can set strictly necessary security cookies in limited circumstances, for example while protecting the site from an attack. Any such cookie exists only to keep the site secure and working, which exempts it from the consent requirement.
The legal position
Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), storing information on your device, or accessing information already stored there, requires your consent unless it is strictly necessary for a service you asked for. A consent banner is simply how sites collect that consent. This site stores nothing and accesses nothing, so there is nothing to consent to and no banner is shown. If we ever introduce non-essential cookies we will ask for your consent before setting them and update this policy.
Forms
The founder application and newsletter forms send your details to our own server endpoints, described in our Privacy Policy. Submitting a form places no cookies in your browser.
